[1.08] "Untitled" session and opening a session |
When you start cMud, the untitled session is automatically opened. When you try to connect to one of the saved sessions, it will open the session, but connect in the untitled session.

How exactly are you trying to connect to your saved session? Are you clicking the Sessions button and then double-clicking your session icon, or are you using the pulldown menu on the sessions button?
What CMUD does is replace the blank session with the session that you are connecting to. My guess is that it's connecting the the correct session but somehow isn't showing the title of the window correctly. But you'd need to show a screen shot for me to be sure. It's very dependant upon whether the session you are connecting to has a saved layout or something like that. It might also matter if this was an upgrade to a previous beta (where you might have had a bad layout file saved for the session) vs a clean install of 1.08.
Anyway, please try to provide more step-by-step details and more details on exactly what isn't working. |

Done in cmud 1.08 upgraded from 1.06. As it opens tthe session in the wrong window, triggers etc don't fire and other such problems of being in the wrong session. I have not saved or associated any layout files.
If you need more info, just tell me what to give you. (currently I work around the problem by closing the untitled window and reconnecting.) |

Go into the character subfolder for your session within the CMUD folder. What files are there? Delete any XLY or TBZ file for your session. Also, when you open your session offline, click the Settings button and check to see if you have any extra Window object. If you upgraded from 1.06 then it's very possible to have some leftover windows from the bugs in that version.

Ok I removed untitled.pkg from the File section of session properties which was placed there by an earlier version of cmud. Now it opens correctly.
