Some Q's, friends and I are wondering about. |
maybe you can answer some of the questions as a kinda QA for some of us
if the answers are posted somewhere maybe send me a link to the thread?
1) Will using Cmud be faster than using Zmud on a Windows XP machine.
2) Can I import by Zmud Triggers (and use the same Code to due so) into Cmud.
3) Can I import my Zmud Maps into Cmud.
4) for just basic playing what are the advantages of having Cmud over Zmud.
I guess majority of my questions stem from my current use of Zmud and how well it will switch over and if its going to be worth it. the maps and triggers I have in Zmud are endless and I wouldn't want to redo those.
Thanks!!! |

1) Yes
2) Yes, although you may have to tweak some
3) Yes
4) Because CMUD will be to zMUD 7.21 what 7.21 was to zMUD 4.62
I say all this with one caveat: CMUD is currently in BETA which means it has a lot of BUGS and is not ready for general use yet.
Please wait for the first official public release of CMUD if you want to use it for playing and not beta testing. Currently I don't think you should switch over from zMUD for playing because we're still ironing out a lot of issues. |

Great thanks for the reply! I definately want to start leting people know about Cmud, and I'll probobly try it out anyways. I don't mind testing and see if there are bugs...I just didn't want to get involved in something that would be a pain to switch too. appreciate it.
