After entering my password it freezes, did what faq said

I did what it said in the faq and it didn't help. I can connect using raw telnet but not zmud at all. Also i'm getting ùù outputted where my username goes, and ù at password: ie....
Account Login: ùù
and they aren't there in other ways of connecting. |

You forgot to mention what MUD you are trying to connect to, and what version of zMUD you are using :). A guess though is that the MUD has a poor implementation of the MCCP(MUD compression) protocol. Try disable compression and connect again: View->Preferences->General->Emulation->Mud Compression

I'm using zmud version 7.21 and I'm connecting to a mud using phantasmal lib, dgd codebase.
I tried the MCCP and that didn't do anything. |

I tried searching after MUDs using that lib but was unable to find any so I can't test this. However you might want to try play around with the options in the Emulation tab and see if you can find a setting that works.
