button problems... =[

So ok... Anyone ever have a button just stop working? Its not disabled, there is nothing wrong with the contents, just a regular push button. But one day, it just stoped working. I press it, and it becomes "pressed" but it doesn't execute the command in the button.

Please help! I've had this problem with a multistate button before, and just gave up on it, and made an alias, but now a couple more buttons seemed to have died on me! TIA!

You have a lot of buttons, or buttons that are taking on the properties of other buttons? I noticed that sometimes my buttons would switch code for no apparent reason, but a dummy edit of the weird buttons fixed all my problems.

No... Not a lot. I've cut down alot of 'em that are used as buttons. Most are now just guages, I've a few of those... ;]~ But.... Whats a 'dummy edit'?

A dummy edit is when you add/remove stuff from the button, but then put it all back to the way it was before. This forces ZMud to flag the item as "dirty" and will resave the new results even though they are identical to the old ones.
