how do i make the map move, or create a room/link only when i type east (or e, abbreviated) s, n, w, u, d.
see i move around it'll give a little description sometimes before the room name. or gossip drink follow etc

1)open up the mapper.
2)click on the Config menu, select Reconfigure.
3)in the box with the highlighted "south" text, type in a valid direction or look command
4)Press the Next button.
5)follow the directions until you get the Finish button.
6)press the Finish button

If you want more help, you have to be a lot more forthcoming with details. Beyond that, it sounds like you need to invest serious time and usage in #NOMAP and #NODIR.

yeah, i figured out what i said was.. basic but it wouldn't let me post what i really wanted since.. the post/forum wasn't working... the reply, atleast the quick reply isn't working for me no more on my browser, mozilla firefox. it use to. heh. It just won't let me post, i read etc, just not post.

i want it to map, but if something like this comes up

prompt
something lies this way blah blah blah eyeroll
(blank space)
Room name
Room description
exitnorth
exitsouth
exieast

that's an example. how do i make it not make it make a correct room in a situation like that.
hence blank space.
that help i hope

Yeah, that makes things a lot clearer. Use #TAG.
