#Executing Commands in aonther window

I'm trying to force a 2nd window to log when I type a command

#window {Staff} {#log Playername_CHANNELNAME_%time(MM-DD-YY_HHNNSS}

I've tried
#window {Staff} {#execute {#log Playername_CHANNELNAME_%time(MM-DD-YY_HHNNSS} }
and #send instead of execute, to no avail.
Suggestions appreciated.

Code:
#ALIAS log {:staff: #log Playername_CHANNELNAME_%time(MM-DD-YY_HHNNSS}

If you're on the main window, use the focus character (default is :).
