Can't Disable Connection Timer |
I really don't need it, and I could use the extra space on my status bar.
I uncheck it. > click apply > click ok > save settings > quit > restart
And it's still there.
Check settings, and it's checked again.
Uncheck something else like check for new version.
Uncheck connection timer.
do rest of above.
restart and it's STILL there.
Check settings, and it's checked yet again.
But check for new version is NOT checked.
Why won't the Connection Timer STAY unchecked? |

Never tried it and never wanted to. I guess it is likely a bug that has been around forever, because no one wanted to turn it off. Most likely before Zugg added it users expressed mixed feelings about the idea, so he put in the option. Since then it has become broken and no one has ever asked about turning it off, so no one noticed.
