Achaea - zMUD forcing me to create a new name |
When you connect to Achaea there is usually three prompts. Log in, create a new name, and quit. However, when i connect currently, i have no choice but to enter a new name and do the sign up process.
1, 2 and 3 will not work and there is no way to sign in. I have exited and re-opened the console, and also rebooted my computer.
I was told this was the best place to ask for help. Anyone know how to solve this? I prefer zMUD over the java client on the Achaea website. |

Hello Uzari
It looks like it is the autologin feature of zMUD that cause issues for you. The autologin triggers can be modified to work but then we need to know more about the output Achaea generates during login.
You can disable the autologin however. In the character selection screen of zMUD right-click your character and select properties. Then select the Character tab in the new window that opens. Uncheck "Use this character name and password automatically to login" (this text may be a bit different. I use the swedish version of zMUD). Then click the Save button.
Now try to login. |

Actually, i had a feeling that it was the auto-login feature as well, but alas removing that option and deleting the username and password isnt making a difference.
I find it weird, because it let me log in about six times before this started happening.
Are there any back-issue clients available for download earlier than 7.05? I heard in game that some people have had this issue before, but it went away after a reboot.
Could it possibly have something to do with the alias and macro i entered reciently as requested by my guild aide? Im not sure how something like this would affect it, but it stopped working just about the same time i created these new strings. |

try disabling these. If you can login normally, then they're the problem.
