path ahead?

is there anyway to save the path ahead to a path?

I mean when you #path the bit in the Path Ahead:

here's a rundown on why i need it, i have a walker that follows a rather long path and visits around 800 rooms. Sometimes i need to stop halfway and go back to town. In the past i've just restarted the path from the beginning of the area, but that's getting annoying.

So what i want to do is record the current room number, record the path ahead. then run back to town. when i want to resume i go back to the start of the area speedwalk to the previous stored room number then start walking the saved path again.
