Hey,
new to zMUD, could someone post just a basic script? I play DR, so a DR script would be great. I program java and C, never looked at pascal, so im kinda lost. What editor do you use? the built in one? So .. yea, thanks!

For basic scripts I would suggest reading the entire Getting Started section of the help. It is designed to walk you through the begining steps and explain terminology specific to advanced mud clients. Most of the terminology was invented by Zugg the creator of zMud, and has since been adopted by other clients or was a goal for new clients. In any case, I don't think any sort of basic script posted here would be of use to you without that background information. Also the experts and Gurus tend not to have much that could be called basic.

The closest thing in my scripts would be this small building block of a much larger script.
#TRIGGER {^You no longer feel resistant to the heat.$} {#DELITEM WeavePend {untie 'Fireproof'};#DELITEM Spells {Fireproof}} "" {case}

Use the Search link to find examples of scripts written for DR. Try keywords like DR, dragon, realms, dragonrealms, etc.
