Licence problem during launch |
Error message upon attempted launch:
'Sorry, could not get a licence at this time.
Please try running the program later.

I just recently upgraded to 7.x and re-entered my registration code at that time. It worked fine for 3 days and now will not launch. I tried reinstalling (without deleting - I haven't been able to track down the files I have created and don't want to lose them without backing up first).
Any suggestions? |

If you were to do a search for any of these 'Error message 23' 'zmud won't start' '23' 'could not get licence' or any variation what you posted you would find what your problem is.
This is an Elicense Problem not a Zmud Problem

You need to first contact eLicense at support@elicense.com and ask them to send you their diagnostic program to fix a code 23 error. Then, run the program they sent you to clear the error.
This is error code is due to a problem with eLicense. Something in the eLicense software gets corrupted and this error appears. To fix it, e-mail eLicense at support@elicense.com and explain to them that you are getting error code 23. They will send you a small program that should fix the error.

Everything was exactly as you said. Luckily I received a reply within hours and and back up and running. Thank you for your assistance, and I appologize for not scouring the site better for the help on my own without resorting to these forums. :)
