Mapper problem |
I'm using the new 7.01 zmud, but this problem has been present since before that. It's not really much but a minor annoyance, and I don't know if it's been addressed before, but i'll post here about it anyway.
Sometimes in the mud I play, due to movement without a directional signal (namely fleeing in battle "You flee head over heels!"), the mapper will get messed up as to which room I'm in. This in itself is not a problem, I can handle that. The problem is that, since the mapper is out of whack, it thinks i'm in the wrong room. This, again, would be no problem if the mapper would STAY in follow mode :P
Every once in a while, the mapper will switch itself from follow mode to mapping mode, and create/change rooms that I don't want to be created or changed. At other times, it will just keep me in the same room it had me and not change the map at all. It seems to do this at random times, and I don't know why. Anyone know how to KEEP the mapper in follow mode? |

There are some bugs in the current version that can get stuck in map mode after using a #LOOK or #FIND command in some situations. This is fixed for the next version.
