Mapping Problem |
Rolling Hills
The boulders and rocks that lie along this hillside are warm to the touch. No discernable tracks mark the rough ground across this pass. Bright and beaming rays of sunlight beat down from a cloudless sky.
There are exits east, southwest and west.
that is my room desc
when I load a room or create a new room it always takes the 3rd line in the description for the room name, eventho when i use the autoconfigger to config the map it highlites the room name properly, also i have descriptions turned off because they change depending on weather and the like, what settings can I look at to see why its doing this? Thanks |

Try this.
In the Mapper, Config|Configuration Settings, you can configure the mapper to sort Room Names, Room description and Exits based on paragraph number. Ie, Room name in paragraph 0(I think), Room description in Paragraph 1, Room exits in paragraph 2.

Problems like these are best and most easily solved by modifying your char's settings on the mud if that is possible. Does your mud have a "brief" mode? Can the mud send complete lines instead of wrapping them for you? Zmud likes to do its own word wrapping.
If these things are not possible, then how many unique 'weather and the like' messages are there? If the number is sufficiently small, then just #NOMAP trigger each of those.
Finally, are room names always completely Capitalized? If so, you might be able to #TAG the roomname based on Caps. |
