Pin pointing who is who in the @friends list... |
I can't seem to figure out how to extracting a name from the @friends list when they send me a tell... What I want to do is, have this trigger...
{@friends} tells you, 'This is just a test'
And I want to do, tell the_friend_name_that_just_send_me_a_tell Test complete...
For example... I have @friends with the value; Bob, Mike, John...
Mike tells you, 'This is just a test'
Tell Mike Test complete...
I want to have the @friends variable, so that I will only respond to people that I want to... |

Been digging around helpfiles and boards.. it seem I have to use #IF function... But I can't get it to work.. What I have now is...
(%x) tells you, 'Something here'
With the values of...
#IF (%ismember( @friends)) {tell %1 Something here} |

Another method is to enclose the bracketed list in parentheses, so that the matching item is available in the %1-%99 parameters.
Pattern:
({@friends}) tells you, 'This is just a test'
Value
tell %1 test complete |
