Inherited settings

I am using zmud 6.62 and had used it before without this problem.
Had to format my hard drive and reinstall it on my computer and now I
got this weird thing going on. Seems every time I do an alias, trigger,
variable or whatnot, it doubles it with one as an "inherited" setting.
Problem is all triggers goes off twice and is starting to cause problems here with me having a path trigger go off in certain areas that I mud in. Any ideas on how to stop these automatic inherited settings would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like you're using the same settings file twice.

Select the character, but instead of connecting click the Edit button. Go to the Files tab. Make sure that Primary and Inherited are different and that neither of them is default or default.mud, which are reserved for the system settings.

Thank you for that piece of advice. I fixed it and it seems to be working better. Had my primary at naughtarus.mud and the inherited at naughtarus_bak.mud. Guess the two names were too similar.
