The latest PUBLIC version of zMUD has been released. This version has the official support for Simutronic games such as Gemstone III and Dragonrealms as well as Pueblo emulation, inline image support, FTP support, and much much more. Also, this version is significantly faster than any previous version of zMUD in all areas, including the automapper, text scrolling, and script execution. This version also uses less memory, less disk space, and loads faster than previous versions.

After upgrading to the new version, you will be required to re-enter your registration code. So, before you install, you might want to right-click on your old ZMUD.EXE file and in the eLicense Control submenu, select Product Receipt and copy down your existing reg code. Remember that the '0' characters in your reg code are zeros and not "ohs".

We have worked with eLicense to make this upgrade even smoother than in the past. You should not get any Code 17 errors with this upgrade. If you have problems with your license in this new version, please email eLicense directly at support@elicense.com. Unlike the last public version, you do NOT get any additional trial time with this version. If you have previously used up your 30-day trial of zMUD, it will still be expired in the new 6.61 version.

I hope you like this new version. If you find bugs, please post to this forum for help from one of the Gurus. A lot of work based upon YOUR suggestions have gone into this version. zMUD is now the ONLY MUD client that supports ALL of the existing MUD standards and inline images, including Simutronics games, MXP, MCP, Pueblo emulation, MSP, MCCP, VT100, and all the rest. So tell your friends about it and let them know that zMUD has been improving for over 7 years now, and users get all upgrades for FREE FOREVER.

You can buy this for a friend by entering their name in the "Registration Name" field, and your name in the "Name on Credit Card" field.
