Skipped/Missing Commands - Please Help!!! |
Hi folks, I'm hoping someone else knows how I can resolve this problem... as others surely must have experienced it before.
My problem is... when I enter commands in Zmud, certain commands never seem to get sent. There's no pattern at all that I can discern, just randomly, a certain thing I type in won't get sent to the game. Happens all the time... during a play session I'd say once every 5-10 minutes. Extremely frustrating.
I know it's not a gagged keyword or special character that's keeping the command from being sent... all I have to do when it happens is send the command again. Ineveitably, the second time around the command will be sent.
I have this problem on any of 3 different PC's I use, and others I know who mud w/Zmud have the same issue.
Any idea what may cause this? Thanks in advance!!! |

I have experienced the samething but not as often and while I do not know what causes yours I did find my problem:
I had a trigger that picked up the command sometimes.
I put an alias in the beginning and the rest got scraped.
Most commen, I would goto another program then come back useing the tab in the system tray and it would not get sent until I clicked on it twice.
goodluck, your not alone.

Open up a new session and play for 20 minutes. If you don't see
that happening with no triggers/aliases/etc then it is most
likely a trigger setting of yours.
I'd guess at a #GAG on a prompt line or an alias with the name of the first word of what gets caught that catches your command somehow..
