Zmud Freezes

Zmud 6.40 freezes on a Windows XP Pro machine and am not sure what exactly would be the problem.

I remember reading something about this on a previous post but am not able to find it.

Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks!

Try to find out something consistent about the freezing. Like it always happens when you are doing some specific thing within zMUD.

Version 6.40 works fine until I load one of my character settings file which was created in version 6.16.

I have exported the settings file from version 6.16 in ascii format and then tried to load it in 6.40 but that doesn't help.

Version 6.40 freezes on these settings.

Not sure exactly what to do and I apologize for being crytic last night.

Try splitting up the settings from 6.16 into various files. Then try importing each one separetly until you find the one that freezes zMUD. Keep repeating the process until you find the particular setting that is causing the problem.

Something that is even stranger is that I went to the beta version 6.53 and everything works great.
