#look command |
Is there a way to have this command automatically stop running if it doesn't quickly match a room....just tired of getting 30+ seconds of lag and 20 error messages popping up when I'm not on the correct zone in the mapper.

#LOOK reloads the room name/description/exits for the current room in the mapper. The behaviour you've described sounds more like #FIND.
What version are you using? If you upgrade to 6.40, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by the mapper speed increases in this area.

What version of Windows are you using?
You may need to follow the suggestions in this topic or on this webpage.
