Buttons jumping about? |
I have 6 buttons in line 1 and 2 are multistate. Whenever I move the buttons all shimmer and shake? Also if I click one of the multistates and select something half the time it sends the wrong thing to the mud? e.g. I open teleports and click Luthgard and it sends "cast TELE 'Grothian'" to the mud instead? Any ideas?
Any help appreciated

What version are you using? Also, try posting the buttons that you have.
The shimmering happens if you have variables in your button's caption. If this variable is updated frquently, then the buttons have to be updated frequently too.

I have had the problem your talking about. Even with the swanky new 6.40 version I still get it sometimes, I have found as well as variables in the button captions it can also be caused if you have a trigger that is firing with another trigger. *decyphers: I have the problem when my bot is going crazy gaining xp*.
So check your triggers and make sure they are as clean as possible.

The stuff happening where the button is supposed to send one thing but sends another thing (from another button) is an issue of corruption. I'm not real sure what the cause of this might be, but the only way to fix it is to manually go through the buttons and dummy-edit something in each one (ie, add a space to the caption and then delete it).
