OK....got a test case.

I started with a blank package with just the defaults included. I was offline.
I created an alarm #ALARM {*10} {#say testing}
and an alias #AL testit {#say testing}

Ahh, yeah....can't reproduce it if I turn off my alarms. I'll try and come up with a test case

I've had this problem for awhile...


Open the package editor by clicking on triggers toolbar button
Ctrl-F to show the Find toolbar in the package editor
type some text to search for and hit Ent ...

I didn't save, I didn't close the editor. I only did what I said in the original post. And it was all done sequentially as stated.

I'd love to send in the package. I'm also willing to just scrap ...

Using version 1.29
And to the best of my knowledge that's exactly what I did. Of course, it could have been something prior to this that began the corruption process.

Using the package window I created a class X inside class Y which was inside my Avalon package.
Next, I clicked on that new subclass - X - to make sure it was selected.
