My two cents....

it shouldnt do with the os since the mem loc's are all the same or are suppose to be the same for all os's... xp pro sp1(normal every day production box) and xp pro sp2 beta on my ...

well mainly with the setting up of the mysql server entry in the script.... im usually able to figure stuff like that out but the documentation on how to enter the mysql server adress is poor thats al ...
