Okay i've done some more reading and playing around. I think my problem was that my MUD uses MXP so zmud will no see the colours.

Okay i have got the grab command working okay
the problem is that i want to set up one for the Assassins chat channel on the mud i play.
but when i set the trigger up #cap Assassins #gag it drags an ... |
